Dr. J.S Sharma has over four decades of experience in environmental protection, climate change mitigation and pollution control. He has played a pivotal role in climate change mitigation solutions across the oil and gas industry, shaping national standards, regulations and guidelines. Dr. Sharma is the President of Indian Association of Air Pollution Control, Co-Chairman- Climate Change Committee- Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Former Group General Manager- Head Environment at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and Dr. Sharma is amongst the leaders of the Indian petroleum industry and a renowned member of international energy fraternity. His work bridges science, policy, and real-world implementation across energy, environment, and climate domains.
